Car crazy

Corvette and classic car enthusiasts couldn’t get enough of Milton’s First Friday, which took place downtown on March 5.

Nearly 30 Corvette owners supporting their local West Florida Corvette clubs came out to showcase their pride and joy amongst girl scout cookie sales, the local Relay for Life Team and a number of local vendors.

Dave Vennett, president of the Miracle Strip Corvette Club said he made sure to bring out a number of Corvettes for the local audience to see.

“We have a total of about 25-30 Corvettes with the three clubs combined today,” Vennett said.

Those cars lined up along Willing Street for viewers to get a closer look of a true classic.

The next First Friday event will be held on April 2.
