Bill Gamblin, Editor/Photographer

Bill joined the Press Gazette staff in February of 2005 as the sports editor and later became the editor/sports editor of the paper

A graduate of the University of Kentucky Community College program, Bill is originally from Madisonville, Ky.

Despite coming to the Press Gazette to be the sports editor, he has covered news and sports for over 20 years starting with his roots in radio and as a free-lance reporter and photographer.

Bill's body of work includes contributions to the Associaited Press and other agencies.

Since joining the Press Gazette staff, Bill brought back the NASCAR page of the paper with the NASCAR Pit Stop and has even gone so far as to create his own radio version called the Racing Pit Stop.

Prior to joining the Press Gazette, Bill worked for the Navarre (Fla.) Press, the Bowling Green (Ky.) Daily News, and the Union County (Ky.) Advocate.

Bill is proud to be a resident of Santa Rosa County and looks forward to hearing from you with your input on what you feel is important in Santa Rosa County.
