Community Theatre to host ‘Love is in the Air’
A night of song, romance and food will come to the Pace Panhandle Community Theatre with their newest production, “Love is in the Air,” directed by Lauren Sutton. It will be a Mardi Gras/ Valentine’s Day themed reader’s theater-type event taking place on Feb. 8-9. Hors d’oeuvres, beverages and desserts will be served.

Members of the Gulf Coast Chorale will perform love songs. Dramatic readings of romantic favorites including the balcony scene from “Romeo and Juliet”; Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s “How Do I Love Thee;” “She Walks in Beauty” by Lord Byron; “If” by Rudyard Kipling; “Desiderata” by Max Ehrmann and other offerings written by local authors.

The Panhandle Community Theatre is a non-profit, charitable organization made up entirely of volunteers. The group depends on the monetary and in-kind support of local businesses, members and individual sponsors.

Individual memberships are $25. Members have voting rights and are eligible to hold office. Business sponsorships begin at $100 and include mention in all event playbills, a listing on the Wall of Sponsors, and a mention on the sponsors page.

SRMC to hold fundraiser
The Women’s Advisory Council of Santa Rosa Medical Center will host Ronnie McDowell and T. Graham Brown for their annual fundraiser. The private concert will be at Farmer’s Opry in Chumuckla on Thursday, Feb. 14, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The seated dinner and concert is $35 and includes a silent auction.
