Please tell us what you do and what groups you are involved with or an officer of?

I am a Senior Account Executive with OnMedia, the local advertising division of Mediacom Cable, and have been here 8 years. I am an Ambassador with the Santa Rosa County Chamber of Commerce, Iím a Blackwater Pyrate , I serve on the Santa Rosa County Fair marketing board and I am the Coordinator for our local ĎShoes That Fití non-profit organization here in Santa Rosa County.

Q: What brought you to Santa Rosa County?

A: I was born and raised in Southern California, and I moved here in January 2004 with my husband at the time.

Q: If you had the power of a super hero, what power would that be and why?

A: I would like to have the powers of Wonder Woman Ė She was always seeking justice and loved the thrill of the adventure while doing it. She was determined, strong and worked hard to reach her goal. But her main characteristic was the true concern for the fellow man. She would do everything in her power to promote the common good and try and make the world a better place.

Q: What did you want to be growing up and why?

A: As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to work with animals. Iíve always loved animals, but I knew I could not be a veterinarian because I canít handle seeing animals injured or neglected. So, I had decided I wanted to be a zoologist or a dog trainer.

Q: Name three things you will always have in your refrigerator?

A: I would have to say, shredded cheese, tuna fish and diet coke. Iím a snacker so as long as I have chips and cheese, tuna and crackers and diet coke, I am a happy girl!

Q: What would we hear on the radio of your car/truck during a road trip?

A: Well, definitely a variety of music! I love all kinds of music, but I would have to say country music is probably my favorite. I love me some Luke Bryan!

Q: What was the last book you read?

A: It was JD Robbs, In Death series. She is one of my favorite authors.

Q: What is your favorite food and why?

A: Wow, as much as I love to eat, I would have to say my ultimate favorite would be grilled Tri Tip. Tri tip is the best piece of beef there is! You take it off the grill and slice it nice and thin Ö. yummy!! Unfortunately, tri tip is not a common piece of meat around here so I donít get to have it very often.

Q: Where would your ideal vacation spot be?

A: My ideal vacation would definitely be a deserted island. But the island must have at least two trees so I can hang a hammock. I would just lie in the hammock while listening to the water. As busy and fast paced as my life is, that would be the most awesome vacation.

Q: Who, living or dead, has been the biggest influence on you, and why?

A: I would have to say my mom. She was a single mother with three children and I remember watching her work two jobs just to put food on our table. Because of her, my brother and sister and I, have grown to be very strong and independent adults. Some might call it stubborn, but we call it determined.

Q: What household chore do you hate and why?

A: I donít like chores at all, but I would probably have to say mopping. My house is all tile, except for the bedrooms, so when it comes to mopping Ö. well, just imagine having to mop your whole house! Yuck!!

Q: If you could talk to any historical figure over dinner, who would it be and why?

A: I would like to talk to President Ronald Reagan. As I mentioned, I am from Southern California, and when I was in elementary school, my class invited him to come have lunch with us. I was class president so I was the one that wrote the letter that was sent to him. He replied to me and actually said yes! The day before our scheduled lunch our school received a call that he had to cancel. Our class was devastated and I have never forgotten that.

Q: If you had $50,000 to spend, what would you do with the money and why. You cannot say to pay off a bill.

A: Wow, this oneís tough. I would probably get new living room furniture. Then I would probably put the rest of it in my savings account and save it for a rainy day!
