AN ARCTIC AIR MASS WILL FLOW INTO THE REGION TONIGHT AND BRING COLD TEMPERATURES TO THE AREA. OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER TWENTIES OVER INLAND AREAS TO THE MID TO UPPER TWENTIES NEAR THE COAST. THIS WILL RESULT IN SEVERAL HOURS OF SUBFREEZING TEMPERATURES. IN ADDITION... SUBSIDING NORTHWESTERLY WINDS WILL RESULT IN WIND CHILL VALUES DROPPING TO 13 TO 18 FOR MUCH OF THE AREA LATE TONIGHT INTO EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING.



WHILE TEMPERATURES ARE CURRENTLY NOT EXPECTED TO FALL TO THE HARD FREEZE WARNING CRITERIA OF 20 DEGREES OR BELOW IN OUR AREA... OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL BE CLOSE TO THIS CRITERIA ESPECIALLY OVER INLAND AREAS.
