Milton Benevolent Cemetery, a public entity, seeks deductible contributionsfrom businesses and individuals to repair the commerative plaque on the brick base of the Fallen Warrior Monument.
Many veterans are interred in the historic burial ground, including a Revolutionary War soldier, Aaron Snowden. A local talented sculptress and artist, Roxie Platt, designed and donated theFallen Warrior Bronze statue, in honor of her father. She has the mold ready to be cast for the Plaque, but asks the Cemetery to cover the $2,500 for the Foundry cost.
