We all think about going to the doctor when we are sick but how about when we feel perfectly fine? Just like getting an oil change on your car before there are problems, going to the doctor for preventative health can help identify non-symptomatic issues and help you stay healthy.
To help educate the Gulf Coast community about preventative health, Baptist Medical Group board-certified internal medicine physician Cheryl Jeffries, M.D., will appear as a guest on Coming of Age, Lifestyle Television for Seniors. On the program, Dr. Jeffries and the program host will discuss what preventative health is and how we can take advantage of preventative health services provided by your doctor.
The Coming of Age program, presented by Council on Aging of West Florida, covers topics of interest to seniors and their families. Dr. Jeffries feature on preventative health will air on WUWF-TV (Cox Cable Channel 4) at throughout November at the following times:
