The Andy Mac Foundation is announcing the 3rd Annual Andy Mac Foundation Monster Dash 5k Fun Run through Milton, Florida. This 5k Race will be held at 5 p.m. October 26,  at the Milton High School Track.



The race will start begin and end at the Milton High School track and includes a creepy stroll through the Milton Cemetery. Participants are encouraged to dress up as they run or walk on a course through the city of Milton. This will be a family friendly event and children are invited to participate with their parents on the run or in the Kids Mini-Monster Dash on the track. The festivities will conclude with a Post Race Monster Bash.



Pre registration is $20. Participants can register at The Open Rose Florist or online at Active.com.  Registration on the day of the event is $25. The Mini-Monster Kids Races include a Mini-Monster 1k (Ages 4+) and a Mini-Mini-Monster Dash (Ages 4 & under) $10. Packet pickup and day of registration will begin at 3:30 p.m. The kidsí races will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the 5k will follow at 5 p.m. In addition to the First, Second and Third place prizes, the post run party will include awards for Last Place, Best Costume, Best Group Costume and Most Creative Costume.



The Andy Mac Foundation is currently accepting sponsorships for the Monster Dash and the success of this event is credited largely to the businesses, who lend their names and financial support. Proceeds from the Monster Dash 5k Fun Run will benefit the Andy Mac Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization that serves local Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy affected families to help create times of happiness through integration, activities, opportunities and support. It also supports those who reach out to touch the lives of those with disabilities by sponsoring scholarships through Milton High School.
