Two Navarre women were arrested over the weekend and lodged in the Santa Rosa County Jail following an investigation into a traffic accident that claimed the lives of two Massachusetts residents.



Brianna C. Henderson 15,  was arrested and charged with failure to obtain a Florida Driver's license and traffic related offenses, which include failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign and violation of Lerner's Permit requirements according to the Florida Highway Patrol.



Following the FHP's investigation into the accident, Apryl M. Tucker, Henderson's mother, was arrested and charged for allowing an unauthorized person to operate a motor vehicle in Florida.



The accident, which occurred at the intersection of Highway 98 and Edgewood Drive on May 31, claimed the life of Margaret Catyb, 77, of Erica, Mass.



Margaret Catyb was a passenger in the car of her son, Alley J. Catyb, 50 of Dracut, Mass., whose 2012 Nissan Altima was involved in the accident.



The traffic homicide investigation was completed by the Florida Highway Patrol on Sept. 28.
