Help the Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida celebrate 31 years as a wildlife rescue non-profit. WILDfest 2013 will be held Saturday, September 14 from noon to 3:30 p.m. at the Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida.

Our wildlife will be the star of the show. Raptors and their handlers will roam the Sanctuary grounds. Visitors can hand feed the pelicans at our feeding station and kids can learn and have fun playing wildlife games. Learn more about local wildlife and the environment with displays from UF/IFAS Escambia County Sea Grant and Roy Hyatt Environmental Center and many others.

The event will include live music from the amazing Sweet Prospect Celtic Band and food from our popular hamburger and bake sale booths

We will be selling out 2013 tee shirts featuring a white-tailed fawn designed by Pensacola’s well-known artist Heather A. Mitchell. Heather will be ready to sign your newly purchased shirt. Also visiting will be past tee shirt artists Valerie Aune (2004) and Debbie Andress (2008).

The event is a Supply Drive to help keep our animals safe, healthy, well fed and comfortable until they can be released back into the wild. So, bring family, friends, cameras and donations for the Wildlife Sanctuary to help us continue our mission of caring for injured and orphaned wildlife.

Our Supply Drive list includes: tissues, paper towels, laundry soap, fresh fruit and veggies, Science Diet kitten growth and puppy growth, Purina puppy chow, suet cakes, animal crackers, pine straw, pecans or peanuts shelled or unshelled, sunflower seeds for birds, daisy (Astroturf) mats, peanut butter, gift cards, first class stamps and monetary gifts are welcome.
