Florida Highway Patrol troopers are reporting a Milton woman caused an accident on July 8th that sent one person to the hospital.
Ezangalyn Carter, 34, Milton, was cited for careless driving after she struck the back of a vehicle stopped in the road to make a turn at Munson Hwy. and East Gate Rd., according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The 2003 Ford Ranger she was driving received $10,000 in damage.
Troopers say Christopher Walston, 15, Pace, was driving the 1993 Jeep Cherokee that was struck from behind. Walston's passenger, Ronald Walston, 41, was transported to Santa Rosa Medical Center with unknown injuries by Lifeguard Ambulance. The white Jeep Cherokee ended up in the ditch.
Troopers are reporting alcohol was not a factor in this crash. All parties involved were wearing seatbelts.
